Build faith. Tell stories.

I follow Jesus because he is who he says he is. I don’t follow because people have represented him perfectly, people mess it up real good all the time. Myself included.

I don’t follow because my life is easy.
I’ve experienced real church hurt & abuse of power. I’ve lived through the trauma of a manipulative and toxic marriage; and endured the grief of divorce. Family members gripped with addiction, mental health disorders, and living in unanswered prayers for healing. I follow Jesus because he is the only perfect constant, healer, and peace through it all.

I don’t follow Jesus because I get all that feels good to me. I live surrendered and obedient; dying to my flesh-because it’s true when he says his ways are higher and better than my own. Trust doesn’t mean having all the answers. He sees my life in full. I see a second at a time.

I follow because he is trustworthy over and over and over. My life is a walking miracle. And your’s is too when you live a life to follow him- not just know him. All I can do is point you to the altars of my life and say, “Come and see.” It’s why I’ve pursued a life of ministry and mentoring because we all need help remembering. We all need accountability and community.

So here’s your invitation!

Come taste and see that the Lord is good. Let my witness and testimony stir up hope and faith in you to take the step on the narrow road of discipleship. Let’s do this together. We are all broken and messy. But God redeems it all. The miraculous still happens. Heaven still invades earth. God isn’t done yet. But you choose.
